Instructor will provide details regarding exam content.- Laboratory (30%): Details on lab assignments will be covered in separate handouts.- Assigned Homework Problems (10%): Homework will be assigned and collected but not graded. A solutions manual is held on reserve at the Cascade Library. Homework assignments will be due on theday announced in class.- Letter grades will be assigned as follows:A = 100 to 90 % B = 89 to 80 % C = 79 to 65 % D = 64 to 55 % F = 54 % or lower- To receive a Pass in the course a grade of C or better must be earned. To receive a Pass/Fail grade the instructor must be notified shortly after first mid-term.Attendance & Make-up Policy:Please notify the instructor by phone if you plan to be absent. With prior notice, arrangements may be made to reschedule exams, answer questions, etc.Note: If you plan on missing an examination, the instructor must be notified at least one week in advance of examination. Any make-up exam request without appropriate notice will be subject to a 10% penalty. Students may only make-up 1 exam during the term. All additional missed exams willbe marked as zero points.
