Class participation will consist of discussions, case analyses, role-playing, and problem solving. Media programs such as videotape andcomputer-based sessions will be used as supplemental materials.Instructor Expectations:All reading assignments and preparations are due on the date given. The class is intended to have student participation and therefore, daily attendance and preparation is expected. Student discussion and questioning is encouraged. Topics may include networking, sales management, verbal and non-verbal communication, listening, body language, partnerships, the Internet, etc.The articles are to be a summary and explanation of key points made in the article. All reviews are to be typewritten, double spaced, proofread, and approximately one page in length. A photocopy of the article is to be attached to the review. Final Notes:We all know that the weather can be unpredictable, especially toward the end of the semester, or there betimes, which make it impossible for you to attend class. Please use judgment on those days as to whether or notyou should attempt to reach JCC. The college will make school cancellations known over local radio stations. If classes are not cancelled for the day, assume classes will be held.
