The best way to learn a language is to use it constantly. Class time will focus on your use of French to communicate with your classmates and the professor in meaningful and creative ways.•Be Prepared. Come to class on time having completed assignments. Homework often is preparatory: exploring vocabulary, establishing bits of dialogue or gathering information to present to the class. This helps us to explore topics with further depth and meaning during out limited time in class.•Ask Questions. Come to class ready to pose questions about the homework, the coursework or anything else in the textbook or Supersite. If in-class directions are unclear, raise your hand and ask the instructor for clarifications.•Be creative with your presentations and group-work. Simple PowerPoint presentations or visual props add a great deal to oral presentations. Humor goes a long way to making a skit enjoyable and thus also a more effective learning exercise.•Think Critically. Review your work carefully before you submit it, especially written work. Are you sure of your vocabulary? Have you conjugated each verb correctly? Does every adjective agree in number and gender with the noun it modifies? Use every resource at your disposal: bilingual dictionaries, the grammar bullet points in the lesson, the instructor, even your classmates.COCKTAIL PARTY MARK THIS DATE AND TIME ON YOUR CALENDAR NOWTuesday, November 114:00-6:00Student Center, University Rooms A, B, CSET UP YOUR SUPERSITE ACCOUNT & ENROLL IN YOUR INSTRUCTOR'S COURSE So that you can see your assignments and due dates, receive important announcements, and communicate with your Instructor and classmates, you will need to set up an account on the IMAGINEZ Supersite, and then enroll as a registered student in your Instructor's course.1.
