Technology Resource FileDescription: In the exponentially changing world of technology it is important that teachers have a wealth of free or low cost technology resources that will help teachers appropriately integrate technology into the classroom. The Technology Resource File is atwo-part assignment that will require you to use MS Word and MS Excel. The assignment should be uploaded into LiveText on the assigned due date. Your instructor may also require you to submit a hard copy of each file. Directions: You should research eight (8) current technologies (software/hardware/Web 2.0 application) for your given content and or grade level(s). You should have at least one software/application and one hardware included in your list. You should fill in the Excel Template (posted online) and save it as Resource File and your name. It is important that you do not modify the template in any way as each person’s file will be merged to create one Excel file for you to “utilize” as you start teaching. In this file you should answer the following about the technology chosen: - Name of Software/ Hardware/Application- Platform it can be used with (Mac, PC, iPod, ipad, etc) - Cost: Free or otherwise (low cost)- Grade Level - Subject area(s): if more than one subject list in separate columns; if all – state ALL - Links to information about and purchase of - Links to tutorials on how to use - Brief description of capabilities: Key words - three – four keywords one might “search” by to find something thatwould work for their needs. After looking into eight (8) technologies and filling in the Excel, you should pick your favorite two (2) technologies – onesoftware/application and one hardware and address the following topics in a combination of bullets and a narrative. This should be completed in Word and should be saved as Technology Resource and your name. In bullets answer the following:- Name of Software/ Hardware/Application- Platform it can be used with (Mac, PC, iPod, ipad, etc) - Cost: Free or otherwise - Grade Level - Subject area(s)- Links to information about and purchase of - Links to tutorials on how to use In a narrative discuss the following: Brief description of capabilities of the software/hardwareHow/why you can/would use the software/hardware as it relates to at least two (2) of the following concepts:a.
