An “A” is earned by exceptional students who consistently perform excellent work. A “B” is earned for above average work. A “C” is earned for work that meets minimal requirements. A “D” or “F” is earned for work that fails to meet minimal requirements.Writing. Assignments, unless otherwise noted, must be typed (single spaced, one inch margins, 11 point ( Verdana font). All written assignments are considered Professional Business Documents, i.e. well-written and presented.Academic dishonesty. Any case of academic dishonesty will result in a grade of F for the course. This action is allowed by Academic Regulations and Procedures as described in the Schedule of Classes. I expect you to know and understand these policies and regu­lations. You will evaluate and report on the contributions and behaviors of your team and individual members.- Final Paper (10 pts.) - Participation (5 pts.) Any appeals to a grade received on any assignment or exam must be submitted in writing within one week of the receipt of the grade and must include detailed, specific rationale for a review of the grade.o It is your responsibility to keep track of the grades you receive on all class assignments – including daily participation forms, quizzes, , etc.- Participation o Your participation score is based on your active participation, demonstrated learning and value added to class discussions and activities. o To receive full credit, please be sure I have a picture of you on my photo-enrollment sheet and display your name card during every class. o While poor attendance will hurt your grade, regular attendance is not enough. You must complete required readings prior to class, be prepared to ask questions, make comments, actively participate and learn through discussion and application of course concepts. o Disruptive behavior—including but not limited to side conversations, not listening to and respecting the views of others, arriving late, cell phone disruptions, computeruse, etc.—will result in a zero, or failing grade, for class participation.- Writing.
