ECE 3 Positive Child Guidance Outside Assignment #2 Assessing a Challenging Behavior Outside Assignment #2 will give you an opportunity to focus on a particular behavior in a real or imaginary child. You may use a child of any age under 18. The Assignment has three parts. Follow the Outline below. Follow the guidelines for written assignments included in your First Day Information. The paper will be about 4 pages plus the Cover Page.. The following page will be a COVER PAGE for your Outside Assignment #1. Part I: Use the following page for this part of the assignment. You will have to save that page to your computer and then type in the information requested. Part II: (At least One Page) Begin your paper by describing the child. Refer to your Cover Page. Do not use real names. If you are making up a child explain that clearly. First give a general description of the child. Include gender, age, physical appearance, life situation, and make an educated guess in regard to temperament. Then, more specifically, use information from Lecture and text to describe his or her development across the Three Domains. Part II: (About Two Pages) Specify the behavior upon which you are focusing.
