The Discussion Board is a communication medium for posting and responding to messages. This feature is designed for asynchronous use; meaning users are not present at the same time to converse on-line. An advantage of the DiscussionBoard is that conversations are logged and organized. Conversations are grouped in threads that contain a main posting and all related replies.1. Log on to http://myasucourses.asu.edu and click on your course. After students complete the assignment and send it back to the instructor, the instructor uses the gradebook to view, download, and submit grades for an assignment.1. In the online gradebook, locate the column that contains the assignments for which you want to submit grades. Click the hyperlinked name of the assignment at the top of the column. 4. In the Item Options page, click the Item Grade List link to enter grades forall students at one time.5. Next to each student name, enter the grade in the Grade column. 6. Click Submit to submit the grades you entered.7. In the Control Panel, click the Gradebook link. 2. In the gradebook, click the exclamation mark (!) that appears next to a student’s name in the appropriate assignment column. 3. Click the View button to view the assignment details. 4. In the Grade Assignment page, you can download and grade the student’sassignment files. Click the hyperlinked name of a file to open the file in your browser or right-click the file name and select “Save File As” to save the file to your computer.
