Logos, Ethos, & PathosCurrent Lecture- Unit 1: Research Proposal-This paper will be the culmination of the work you have done over the past few weeks and is the beginning of the inquiry process for the research you will do in Unit 2, the paper you will write in Unit 3, and the project you will present for Unit 4. -Once you begin the research in Unit 2, you won’t be able to change your research question. -This paper should be written in essay format based on the structure we learned in class.- Introduction-Introduce claim: 1-2 paragraphsa. Why did you choose to write about this?b. What, if any, beliefs, assumptions, preconceptions, ideas do you bring to this project? Personal experience.c. Background information – What do you already know?Claim – I intend to research __research question__ because I want to find out _____1____,-Hook-Background/context-Thesis/ main claim (sentence of method)- Sub claims 1-3- This will address reasons #1-3 from your introduction: each claim can be 2-3 paragraphsa.
