At times I will be posing several documents in the site; at others, I will be posting additional readings and instructions. In the event that do not come to class, which hopefully will only happen when I am away at a conference or a special assignment, I will be communicating almost exclusively through this medium, as well as through your GAView email account. Being neglectful in checking your account does not constitute an excuse under any circumstances. If you have trouble reaching your account because of PC issues, please fix them before it is too late. X. WORKLOAD: By a many accounts, my classes are intense, particularly during the end of the semester rush. Indeed, at times you are going to feel you are in a whirlwind of assignments and events to attend. Please do not wait until the end to do your work! I repeat, DO NOT wait to do your work! Should you come to the end of the semester without having fulfilled your responsibilities, you are going to be asked to do more work that you may not be able to complete, which will lower your final grade. Please consider carefully if taking this class is something you can afford to do in addition to the myriad obligations you already have. I would not want SPAN 3200 to be the source of your stress and the cause why you think the university world is not for you! XI. EMAILS: Chances are you are going to be getting many emails from me. Please make sure you read them. When turning in your assignment, you will be required to do so in attachment from. Make sure you follow the instructions to do so very carefully to avoid confusion. Before you complete you turn in your writing assignment for a grade, you and I will have the opportunity to have worked together in making it the best work you can come up with. Proper email etiquette is expected, and I will hold you accountable for answering the questions I asked of you in orderly fashion. In this sense, emails are used for the purposes of this class alone. Please refrain from sending me emails that have no ties to the class, unless of course, it is something relevant to what we are covering and I can benefit from the information you want to share with me. The email account used for the purposes of this class is ksuyop.gmail.com. Beingthat I am the co-coordinator of the Year of Peru at KSU, we are going to be communicating via this email when it comes to turning in your work.
