Some examples include: - a walking map of your neighborhood, - a map of your house, - a map of your scars, or- a map of your grocery store. FOR TOMORROW, you must bring your Map Topic and a Rough Draft/Brief Sketchof your idea (you can use the blank section down below for this). You will have time in class tomorrow to create a final version of your map. Bring any materials from home that you might want.The above examples are suggestions – if you have another idea, let us know and we can add it to the list. Each of your maps must include the following elements:- Title (What does your map represent?)- Date (When did you create your map?)- Direction (Which way is north? South? Up/down?)- Legend (What do the symbols on your map mean?)- Scale (1 inch=? miles/feet/steps)In order to achieve a ‘4’ on the rubric, you must distinguish different areas on your map using color.
